This animated version of Laverne & Shirley places roommates Laverne DeFazio and Shirley Feeney in the Army. They wind up getting involved in clandestine escapades with their immediate superior, a pig named Sgt. Squealy, threatening to report them to his superior, Sgt. Turnbuckle. All usually turns out well for the girls. Also of note, the words "In The Army" were not used in the title cards of the show. Penny Marshall and Cindy Williams, stars of the live-action show, voiced their cartoon counterparts in this show.
